What you should do outside the car in traffic

The average reaction of human being to an accident is around 0.75 seconds. If a car is running at a speed of 60km/h it drives 12.4m before the deceleration starts. At a 100km/h this distance is as high as 24.8m. Then a breaking distance of around of 40m is required. Therefore we are suggested to keep a distance of at least 50 meter from the vehicle in front of us. (more…)

School bus-truck collision leaves 13 injured in central China

ZHENGZHOU – At least 13 people sustained injuries after a school bus collided with a truck at an intersection in Suixian County, Henan Province, central China, Thursday.

The 37-seat bus had 30 kindergarten kids, two teachers and a driver onboard when the accident happened at 8:53 a.m. All of the injured are children. Two are in a critical condition.

Police have detained the truck driver. The investigation continues.
